Social and Behaviour Change Expected:

 

  • Changing attitude and promoting behaviour change e.g. when the religious leaders have asked the congregants to go for vaccinations, ensure they take care of their children.

  • Promoting toilet use in West Pokot County among protestant churches.

  • IRCK and UNICEF engaged with the leaders of a Christian sect to persuade them to allow members to accept the polio vaccination for their children.

  • Promoting hygiene, and ending child abuse during emergencies.

  • Rotary International organized for Pope to publicly administer Polio vaccine.
